I’ve been flying R/C since 1971, modeling and U-Control a bit longer. My goal is to have fun when I go to the field, it is not imperative that I fly to accomplish this but it helps! My interests have varied over the years and I am still active in many areas of the hobby. I’ve successfully competed in Scale, IMAC, Q500, Scale War Bird Racing and Giant Scale Racing over the years. Having flown everything from helicopters and park flyers to 200MPH giant scale racers I have a definite appreciation and respect for all facets of R/C flying. Currently my interests revolve around Scale Aircraft and Scale Competition, which has always been my 1st love of the hobby. One of the main things I love about the R/C hobby is there are so many ways to enjoy it, with how the ARF and RTF industry has matured, now more so than ever. I have built almost everything I’ve flown from kits, plans and even 3 – view drawings of the full scale subject and still enjoy building. But I’m not above an occasional ARF.

Professionally I was a master auto mechanic for 26 years and for the last 10 years I’ve changed careers to computers. Now I am a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and working as a consultant on Small Business networks, home networks, servers, workstations, firewalls, routers, wireless, etc.
